What a debut year it has been for The Hop Studio! Since the first brew in March 2012, Yorkshire’s independent craft brewery has gone from strength to strength, creating quality beers with great flavours.

Testament to the dedication of Dave Shaw and his team this success has not gone unnoticed by the industry, with the brewery picking up several awards to date.

Since sales began in April 2012 The Hop Studio has been awarded the following:

  • Silver in the SIBA North East Regional Beer Competition for the ‘Porter’
  • Gold in the Best Standard Bitter Class at York Beer Festival 2012 for the ‘White Rose’
  • Castle Rock’s ‘New Brewer of the Year’ Award 2012/13

Intravenous recently designed a new pump clip for The Hop Studio’s latest ale; the ‘YORK’, which rather suitably for the York-based brewery happens to be a milestone beer, the 20th unique ale they have created.

At present The Hop Studio have 7 regular ales and a pilsner, they have also created 4 seasonal ales and another 8 one-off beers.
