Brand refresh for an established Wine Merchant based in Bedale, North Yorkshire.

Intravenous produced the original Firth & Co brand several years ago when the business was in its infancy. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength, seeking out interesting well made wines from around the world and offering excellent value for money.

As the company itself has evolved so too has the direction of the brand, the latest example of this being the revised logo illustrated above. Working closely with Firth & Co we have strengthened the heritage of the brand with a major update to the company crest, whilst retaining the familiar typographical application of the company name.

Intravenous are pleased to report the successful launch of The Hop Studio beer!

The new collection of beers was recently showcased at a series of launch events held at the York, Sheffield and Euston Taps, and also Pivni in York. The feedback and praise that MD and Brewer Dave Shaw received was beyond expectations and since then the brewery has been operating round the clock to meet demand as the list of pubs, restaurants, off-licences and shops that stock the beers continues to grow.

Intravenous were recently commissioned to work on a new brand identity for a start-up company based at Elvington Industrial Estate, York. ‘The Hop Studio’ is York’s newest Microbrewery and is the brainchild of Dave Shaw, a former employee of the City of York Council.

After previously working in IT, Dave has turned his attentions towards a passion for brewing beer and has subsequently launched his own brewery. With product launches imminent and an online store on the way, these are very exciting times for York’s newest Microbrewery!
